Mr. Abbadon, also known as The Devil, is an antagonist from the 2015 horror-comedy anthology film Tales of Halloween. He appears as the main antagonist of the segment called "The Night Billy Raised Hell".

He was portrayed by Barry Bostwick, who also portrayed Alan Wolf in Bigger Fatter Liar.

Biography[]

Background[]

Mr. Abbadon is a resident of Los Angeles, California and lives at 4118. He is a notoriously stingy resident of the neighborhood who doesn't like Halloween and has never given out any candy over the years. Due to this, the neighborhood kids begin tagging his house, which becomes a Halloween tradition for many years.

Tales of Halloween[]

A boy named Billy Thompson (Mr. Abbadon's next door neighbor) who is dressed as a red devil for Halloween, is about to egg Mr. Abbadon's door when after being forced to do so by his older sister Britney and her boyfriend Todd. Mr. Abbadon opens the door and grabs Billy's hand. He then takes the egg and hits Todd with it as he is running away with Britney. Mr. Abbadon sarcastically compliments Billy's costume and brings him into his house. Tired of children pranking his house year after year, he tells the terrified Billy that he is going to teach him what a real Halloween prank is. Mr. Abbadon then asks if Billy's mom is dressing up this year.

Mr. Abbadon ties Billy to a chair. He plans to frame Billy for going on a crime spree around the town, knowing the word will evantually get out that Billy was seen at his house before and after his apparent crime spree, to scare the neighborhood kids out of pranking his house, and hook up with Billy's mother after Billy is arrested or killed by the police for the crimes he was framed for. Mr. Abbadon then has his little demon underling Mordecai disguise as Billy in his costume to carry out his heinous plot.

Mr. Abbadon and Mordecai go around the neighborhood and play various twisted "pranks" throughout the town. They go to a house of a man who hands out a toothbrush. Mr. Abbadon rolls his eyes and uses a knife to shave the toothbrush into a shiv. Mordecai then uses the shiv to stab The Dentist in the crotch. Mr. Abbadon and Mordcai then go to Britney's house where Mordecai puts gasoline on the ghost decorations and lights them on fire after pelting Britney in the face. They then steal candy from kids and rob stores and steal Adrianne Curry's car. They then use the car to hit and run people. The night continues as they spray paint a garage and put a flaming poop bag sitting in a bear trap outside the house of The Dentist who gave Mordecai a toothbrush earlier. When the dentist goes out to find the bear trap he then catches his foot in it as Mr. Abbadon and Mordecai look on, cheering and laughing. They return to Mr. Abbadon's house, satisfied with the night's events, Mr. Abbadon orders Mordecai to release Billy from his bounds. He then puts Billy's devil mask back on and sends the oblivious kid home.
