Mr. Augustine is a major antagonist of the 2021 action film Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins. He is an assassin working for COBRA who murders the father of Snake Eyes. He is also the catalyst of the events in the film, as Snake Eyes seeks to avenge his father's death.
He is portrayed by Samuel Finzi.
History[]
It is implied that Augustine killed a lot of people during his time as a Cobra agent. One of his victims was the father of Snake Eyes. When he and his men tracked down Snake Eyes' father, who was a G.I. Joe agent, Augustine forced him to roll a pair of loaded dice to determine his fate. After the Joe rolled snake eyes, Augustine shot and killed him. 20 years later, Cobra betrayed Augustine and held him captive. Around the same time, Snake Eyes, who has become a martial arts fighter and sought revenge against him, began working for Kenta in exchange for the opportunity to kill Augustine. However, after learning about the truth, Snake Eyes spares Augustine's life.
