Let the record show I'm a Dick!
~ Birchum insisting the tribunal to call him by his nickname

Richard "Dick" Columbus Birchum, simply known as Mr. Birchum, is the titular main protagonist of the The Daily Wire's original series of the same name.

He is the conservative, unapologetic, no-nonsense woodshop teacher who tries to navigate an increasingly progressive world that he doesn't comprehend. He's bewildered by his gaming streamer son, Eddie, annoyed at his students, and is constantly at war with the school district's appointed "J.E.D.I.", Elliot Karponzi, who is his arch-nemesis.

He is voided by Adam Carolla, who also voiced Spanky Ham in Drawn Together.

Appearance[]

He is a tall, muscular, Caucasian man with short brown hair and a mustache. He wears a formal red shirt, jeans, and a belt. He often carries his signature mug, which suggestively says "I ♥︎ WOOD" on it.

Personality[]

He is depicted as a wood-loving teacher with a gruff, no-nonsense, conservative personality, characterized by his bluntness, abrasiveness and love for traditional values. In general, he is very unpleasant to be around, and often criticizes or bullies others, including his own students. Despite this, he has some positive qualities, such as him caring for his family and his relative affability.
