Charles Montgomery Plantagenet Schicklgruber Burns, or better known as Mr. Burns, is the main antagonist of "Dry Hard", the first segment of The Simpsons Halloween special "Treehouse of Horror XXVII".
He is the richest man of Springfield, whom he rules with an iron fist after a drought drains the city from water. Keeping the remaining water in his own dam, Burns organizes a brutal competition for which each Springfield neighborhood will send a respective kid and all the contestants will fight to the death so they can spend one day at his dam.
Like his original version, he was voiced by Harry Shearer.
Biography[]
The story depicts a post-apocalyptic Springfield where the city has experienced a drought and the scarce water that is still available is extremely expensive. They are informed by Mr. Burns, who manages the town's water supply, that a child from each community must compete in a gladiatorial contest; the victor will receive a day at Mr. Burns' reservoir. Lisa, who was chosen from the Nevergreen Terrace area, met her coach, Homer, very quickly. Ralph is killed in the combat before it even begins when he exits the area and is blown up.
Later, two lads succeed in luring Lisa, but Homer puts an end to them. Later, when Homer is caught in a trap with the other contenders, Lisa persuades them to stop killing one other. Additionally, she persuades Springfield's residents to oppose Mr. Burns. They liberate all of the children from the dome and then regrettably demolish Burns' reservoir because all of the water was utterly wasted. But the water that spilled from the reservoir brought on a rainstorm, a flood, and then an ice age.
