Personality[]
Cash is a perfect definition of a mustache-twirling villain in both physical appearance and personality. He is a greedy person who wants nothing but money, even if it means kidnapping others and forcing them to work in his labor to do so. Besides this, he is also a genius, capable of performing scientific experiments to create hybrids and setting traps to lure others into his lair.
However, Cash's arrogance proves to be his downfall, as creating Leviathan proves to be his undoing when the creature unknowingly swallows both him and Doraemon. Cash is also a coward, as the moment he learns that he is going to be digested by Leviathan's system, he pathetically begs Doraemon to save him, even jumping onto the latter's head to avoid being digested. But even then, when Doraemon tells him that what he does is wrong, he still vehemently tries to justify it by saying that it's his dream.
History[]
Origins[]
Mr. Cash originated from the 22nd century, and wanted to create hybrids that resemble mythological creatures to sell them to the Martians, who are in a diplomatic relationship with humans. He, alongside his ally Dr. Clone, traveled back in time to the 14th-century to evade the authorities and disguised their lair as an ordinary island, which is protected by a virtual shield, allowing it to be invisible to normal eyes. Using a false treasure, Cash lured many pirates to the island and captured them all except for Captain Colt's son Jack, and forced them to work in his labor.
Cash's most prized hybrid creature is Leviathan, which he uses as his personal bodyguard should anything goes wrong.
Doraemon: Nobita's Great Adventures in the South Seas[]
Two years later, Nobita is drifted into the island and meets Jack. Later on, Captain Cold's friend, Captain Kid, alongside Colt's daughter Betty, and Kid's henchmen rescue Doraemon, Shizuka, Suneo and Gian. The group then travel to the island, where Cash sets several traps that almost kill them. Both Nobita and Jack and the group are captured by Cash's men and imprisoned in a cell, where they reunite.
Cash then meets them and explains everything for them, before ordering Leviathan to destroy Kid's ship and imprisoning them back. Thanks to Kid's two henchmen, Pancho and Gonzalez, the group are released, before releasing all the pirates that Cash captured. The pirates then attack Cash's men, much to Cash's anger.
Cash then uses several hybrids to attack the group, but they're all defeated. Just before he can orders Leviathan, Nobita and Doraemon invade his office and knock him out, before deactivating his shield, allowing the island to be seen normally. Cash then attacks Doraemon and the two fall into Leviathan's mouth. Thanks to Doraemon's Dream Checking Machine pinching Leviathan's stomach (as a traditional way to check if one is dreaming), the monster feels pain and vomit them out. Cash is then arrested alongside Dr. Clone by the Time Patrols after his lair has crumbled, and the dolphin Luffin, who Cash kidnapped earlier, turns out to be the Time Patrols' agent to spy on him.
