Mr. Charleston is a minor antagonist from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout".
He runs an unsuccessful restaurant called the Crum Basket, and plots to steal the Slabby Patty secret sauce recipe to expand his business. He's also the archenemy of Mr. Slabs, and the human counterpart of Plankton.
He was portrayed by Plankton's voice actor Doug Lawrence, who also voiced Edward Platypus in Camp Lazlo, and Dr. Machino in Awesome Possum Kicks Dr. Machino's Butt.
Mr. Charleston is a middle-aged man that wears a green shirt, an eye patch, and a balaclava. He also wears headphones with an antenna on his head.
Personality[]
Given how he is more or less a human version of Plankton he naturally seems to have the same personality.
Biography[]
When Carol tries to leave the Trusty Slab, Mr. Charleston enters the building while pointing a laser gun to her head, and orders her to sit down, which she does reluctantly. He then says that this is a robbery and orders Mr. Slabs to show himself. Mr. Slabs grabs his cash register and tells Charleston that he can only have it over his lifeless shell (even though he doesn't have one since he's a human), however, Charleston tells him that he doesn't want his money, and orders him to hand over the Slabby Patty secret sauce recipe. He gives Slabs until the count of 3 to give him the sauce recipe or else he will vaporize everyone in the building, however, Carol manages to put a stop to his plans by hitting him with a karate chop. Mr. Slabs then proceeds to take off the mask that Charleston was wearing, and then throw him in the garbage outside the restaurant.
Trivia[]
It's unknown if Mr. Charleston and Mr. Slabs were once best friends like how Plankton and Mr. Krabs once were.
It's also unknown if he has his own version of Plankton's wife Karen.
