YOUR'E FIRED! HAHAHAHAHA! No mercy.
~ Mr. Dupette’s most famous quote.
I'M WITH SOMEBODY!
~ Mr. Dupette to a employee.

Antioch C. Dupette, also known as Mr. Dupette, is a supporting antagonist in the 1993-1996 animated series Rocko's Modern Life and the main antagonist of the 2019 Netflix film Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling.

He is the CEO of the Conglom-O Corporation and Ed Bighead's boss, although he used to work as a children's party entertainer and a comic book store manager.

He was voiced by Charlie Adler who also played Ed Bighead in the same series.

Appearance[]

Mr. Dupette is a anthropomorphic alligator with yellow skin and red hair. He wears a pair of round glasses, a white shirt, a green bow tie, red pants with suspenders, and black shoes.

Personality[]

Due to be a background in the original series, nothing is much known about Mr. Dupette's personality, expect that he is a lazy and short-tempered boss that always seen picking up his nose. But after he became the antagonist, things start to change, he is a intelligent, but ruthless and arrogant character that keeps firing his executives for unjustifiable reasons. Showing he cares nothing but himself with the expection of money, thus this makes him pretty sadistic as well.

Afterwall, Dupette was purposely made to be hated, considered that all the characters of Rocko's Modern Life are animal caricatures of American society. This highlights its attitudes about abusing its power to keep his company going despite once saving O-Town from bankruptcy. Despite this, he also enjoys his job as a clown and is known to be a big fan of comics.

Biography[]

Original Series[]

Dupette was originally a recurring character in Rocko's Modern Life, he first appears in the episode "Canned", while others depict him as being with Conglom-O during events set well before the events of Canned.

Static Cling[]

In Static Cling fter discovering that Conglom-O is going bankrupt, Dupette decides to fire all its employees, including Ed Bighead. However, Rocko manages to convince him to hire Bighead's son Ralph to make a Fatheads special to save O-Town. Dupette accepts the idea, hires Ralph, and rehires Ed. Mr. Dupette tries to get by without Ralph and hires the two chameleons, Chuck and Leon, to do the drawing, but the drawing ends up going wrong and Dupette fires them both. As he is about to fire Ed once again, Rocko appears along with Ralph. Dupette leaves Ralph with the drawing while he goes to play a game of golf.

After the drawing is finished, Dupette invites all the citizens of O-Town to watch the special, hoping to make a lot of money from ticket sales.

After the special premieres, a rocket appears and ends up sending the Conglom-O building to space while all the money he stealed falls into O-Town. In the post-credits scene, Dupette is shown smacking his nose against the wall while his office keeps floating in space, presumably never to be seen again.
