Mr. James Goodman is the main antagonist of the SML YouTube franchise.
He is a wealthy, multi-billionaire founder and CEO of Goodman Corporate as well a news reporter, landlord of Marvin's house, and a former police officer. He is middle-aged man who is best known for his collection of house payments, notably Marvin's house. Although he was initially a hero in the series, it would not be until 2017 where he would be flanderized into a full on villain, being incredibly corrupted by greed and sadism, in addition to becoming ruthless and greedy altogether, and is Marvin's arch-nemesis.
He was voiced by Zeke. Since Zeke was no longer a member of the SML cast, Goodman is currently voiced by Lance Thirtyacre, who also voices Jackie Chu, Shrek, Jeffy Francois and Ya Boy Duggie.
Personality[]
Initially, Goodman was a very good-hearted, kind and benevolent man who was a police officer who captures criminals, thugs and crime lords, and was kind towards Marvin since years ago.
However in 2016, he became corrupted by greed, ego and sadism, and because of that, became a very cruel, manipulative, sociopathic, selfish, rude, overreacting, ruthless, cunning, egotistical and greedily power-hungry man who is best known for being harsh towards people who don't have house payment, especially Marvin as he is always wrathful and tyrannical towards him and his family. He is also VERY foul-mouthed and likes to do so.
He is also extremely verbally, emotionally and sometimes physically abusive towards his children and his butler Chives, who he is very harsh to.
Despite his intelligence, he can sometimes be dimwitted. For example, he agreed with Jeffy that 8-4 equals to 8, self-harmed himself by squeezing his scrotum when Marvin ask him to give him 15,000$ to bail Black Yoshi out of prison, and thought he was dead when Brooklyn T, Guy deactivated the fuse-box in order to steal his watch.
Despite his cruelty, greed and egoism, Goodman is not completely heartless. In fact, he does have a softer and compassionate side, as he still cares about his children and does feel remorseful for his actions at times.
