Mr. Jabowski is a minor antagonist in Paradise P.D., only appearing in the episode "Meet the Jabowskis". He is the husband of Mrs. Jabowski, the father of Gina, Cooter, Bo, and Baby Jabowski, and the patriarch of his family. He is a renowned criminal, who is responsible for his daughter getting severe brain damage, having used her as a human shield, while on the run from the cops.
Biography[]
In "Meet the Jabowskis", Gina learned that when she was a little girl, she was shot in the head, which caused her to lose her memory of her past. She went on a mission to find the criminal who shot her but the only evidence was a picture of her as a little girl that read "Bumfuque" on the back. Gina followed this information, which took her to the Podunk town of Bumfuque, where her long-lost family was. Everybody was so happy to see Gina come back, including Mr. Jabowski. However, Gina didn't remember any of them and was quick to be on her way to look for the guy who shot her, but Mr. Jabowski encouraged Gina to stay with the family for game night, which she did and ended up really enjoying.
At the Jabowskolympics, Gina beat her family at every challenge with flying colors. just because of how skilled she was. and Mr. Jabowski could not have been more proud of her. That dusk, Mr. Jabowski sat on the roof with Gina and drank some beer with her and told her just how proud he was of her. He said that when she was a kid, he thought she was a coward, playing with dolls and having tea parties, but he's glad to how she matured finely into the tough, upstanding woman, with Gina neing so happy to be with her family and didn't plan on leaving anytime soon.
Mr. Jabowski decided to have some real fun with his daughter by robbing a liquor store with her, and while Gina was strictly opposed to this, as she had to respect the law, Mr. Jabowski told her that the law didn't respect her. He revealed to her that when she was a little girl, a cop shot her in the head, causing her to lose her memory and leave them in the first place. Gina was shocked and appalled to hear this that she decided to give up on her life of being good and become a criminal just like her family.
As a family, the Jabowskis had tons of fun robbing banks, stores, and homes. However, when the family ended up readying to rob The First National Bank of Paradise, Gina worried that she would get caught by her former colleagues. Sure enough, Paradise P.D. came in to arrest them and Randall Crawford was very disappointed to see Gina as a criminal. Before Gina could feel guilty about herself, Mr. Jabowski recognized Randall as the cop who shot Gina and Gina got furious at Randall and turned on him, preparing to shoot him. Randall stopped her by triggering the first pre-shooting flashback she had in years, showing the Jabowski family was seen on the run from Paradise P.D. in speedboats.
Randall started to shoot at the Jabowskis and Mr. Jabowski used a young Gina Jabowski as a human shield to block the bullet, knocking her into a coma. Assuming she had died, Mr. Jabowski shrugged this off, saying that he and Mrs. Jabowski would just "make another one" as he tossed her into the ocean. This memory made Gina turn on her traitor of a father, calling him out on how she mistreated him. Mr. Jabowski promised her he would never do such a horrible thing again, but Gina didn't care and she shot him only for him to shield her bullet with his wife, immediately breaking his promise. Gina opened fire on Mr. Jabowski and he covered himself with his other family members as he fled the bank, taking the money with him, completely unscathed, with his wounded family dragging their limp bodies behind him.
