Mr. Jumba

Mr. Jumba (along with Dr. Weber and Portia Martindale) are the main antagonists from Jackie Chan Adventures season 2 episode Into the Mouth of Evil.

He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta, who also voiced Megavolt from Darkwing Duck and Ventriloquist and Scarface from The Batman.

Biography

Prior to the episode, Mr. Jumba, along with Dr. Weber and Portia Martindale had obtained the legendary Sutras of Raktajiba and plans to take it to India.

Mr. Jumba first appeared when he was confronted by three men demanding the Sutras of Raktajiba, which he claimed he doesn't have until Jackie came (who arrived to pick up and deliver some photos to a colleague in India) and while Jackie was fighting one of them, Mr. Jumba accidentally (or planned) hit Jackie with a statue, resulted in Jackie to have a toothache and after defeating the men. Afterwards Mr. Jumba revealed that the reason for the men was that they believed he had the Sutras of Raktajiba on him, which he lied saying he doesn't have it and said they were only a myth. Upon seeing Jackie in pain, Mr. Jumba decide to take Jackie to his Dentist, Dr. Webber to fix his toothache, where unbeknownst to him, Dr. Webber placed the Sutras in his tooth as a replacement filling.

Mr. Jumba was then seen at the airport where Mohajah, along with the three men from earlier, who were revealed to be his Disciples failed to stop Jackie from going to India.

He later appears again after Jackie escaped the Disciples and knocked him out, where upon awakening, discovered Him, Dr. Webber and Portia in a dental office, where Mr. Jumba revealed that he lied about the Sutras being a myth and confirmed that they are real and explained what they are. Upon learning about the Sutras, Jackie believed that he was trying to stop the Disciples of Mohajah but in truth it was the other way around as they were trying to stop him and the others from taking the sutras and having them make contact with the Ganges River, thus drying up the entire river and cause millions of lies would be destroyed.

When Jackie wondered why they would do that, Jumba explains that it was because below the Ganges River, there are centuries worth of hidden artifacts and riches such as gold and silver and other valuable items down there and with the river being gone, they can obtain the treasure and become rich, even not caring that the people of India will suffer without the river.

When Jade arrived and helped Jackie and manage to obtain the sutras and threw it into the sink, where upon learning that the sewer led to the river, thus their plan will be complete. While Jackie and Jade attempted to go to the sewer, Jumba and the others threaten to expose them with x-ray radiation, Jade got Jackie to use the curry powder he promised Uncle and used it to blind them while going to the sewer.

After Jackie manage to throw the sutras before they touched the river and give it to Jade, Mr. Jumba and the others approached her and demanded for the sutras, only to be frozen thanks to Mohajah using his psychic powers.

While it is unknown what happened to Mr. Jumba and the others, one could assume that Mohajah used his powers to erase their plan to drain the river and the truth of sutras.
