Biography[]
Adam Moore grew up with his brother, Jedidiah, who later became a preacher and had a son named Sammie. Adam also had twin children, Elijah and Elias. The twins' father frequently abused them, most often beating Elias.
One day, whenAdam once again took out his anger on Elias, he beat him so badly that Elias lost consciousness. Furious, exhausted from the years of abuse, and desperate to end the suffering for both himself and his brother, Elijah murdered their father. By the time Elias regained consciousness, Elijah was already halfway through burying their father's body.
His violent nature left deep scars on both twins, ultimately setting them down the path of crime life, eventually working for the Chicago Outfit.
Years later, Stack gives Sammie their late father's guitar, claiming that he and Smoke had won it from Charley Patton in a card game, much to Sammie's surprise and delight.
After the vampire bloodbath led by Remmick at Smoke and Stack’s juke joint, Smoke tells Sammie to bury the guitar. Sammie refuses, saying he can’t, because it once belonged to Charley Patton. Smoke then reveals that Stack had lied to him, and their father owned that guitar. In the end, Sammie kept the splintered fretboard by his side as he returned home.
