Mr. Peeler is the titular main antagonist of the Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids episode Mr. Peeler's Butterflies. He is an elderly man who comes at night and removes the eyelids of children who stay up passed their bed time, turning them into butterflies.
Like all other characters in the show, he was voiced by Nigel Planer.
Appearance[]
Mr. Peeler is an obese balding man with grey sideburns, thick eyebrows, a long pointy nose, and a mouth full of sharp teeth. He is seen wearing a yellow plaid vest with a blue shirt, a pair of green pants and brown dress shoes.
Mr. Peeler is also always carrying around a butterfly net, which he uses to capture the tens of butterflies that he created from the eyelids of children.
Biography[]
When a young boy named Alexander continuasly stalls his parents to stay up passed his bed time, his father warns him about Mr. Peeler, telling him that he will steal his sleep if he stays awake during the night. Alexander doesn't listen, as he stays up until a quarter to 4 AM.
That night, a sardine tin mysteriously appears on Alexander's bed, followed by a pink butterfly. Mr. Peeler then comes into his room, and remove Alexander's eyelids, which he turns into butterflies.
