Wang Bam Yu, better known as Mr. Wang and also Chang Bam Yu and Mr. Chang in the English dub, is a major antagonist in the Chekered Ninja franchise.
He is the one to oversee Philip Eberfroe's toy factory, which uses children to make dolls. He would later get killed by Carsten Wonta Gana on Philip's orders to get rid of evidence against the latter.
Biography[]
Checkered Ninja[]
Mr. Wang first appears controlling the children in his factory until Philip appeared, so he told them to continue working while he talked to Philip. He then appeared with his language interpreter named Jasper, and Philip told that he needed a glass of water, so Mr. Wang ordered one of the children to bring him water.
Philip then saw that the water that the girl gave him was dirty, so Mr. Wang started beating her with a stick and ordered her to bring Philip a bottle of water, which she did. After one of the children named Quang made a ninja doll out of Philip's scarf, Mr. Wang started beating the kid, only for Philip to stop him and beat the child himself to death.
Mr. Wang then tried to grab the doll that was in the child's body, but there was a lightning strike and the doll got possessed by the spirit of the ninja Taiko Nakamura and left the factory, wanting to get revenge on Philip for killing Quang.
Checkered Ninja 2[]
In the sequel, Mr. Wang is killed by Philip's henchman and mercenary Carsten in order to get all the evidence that he had off of Philip and get the notes of all the children that used to work in his factory so Philip could kill them. His death would later be reported by the news.
