During one of Leo's prison gang training sessions, Mr. Wu observed them with his man, who accosted Vito Scaletta as he was trying to leave the room. Mr. Wu coldly greeted Leo, calling him a "crooked white devil," to which Galante replied that Wu had bet on his own and lost, to which Wu demanded a rematch.
Leo Galante agreed to a rematch and put Vito, whom he had been training for the fight, in the same fight Mr. Wu put his best man in. During their fight, Mr. Wu watched everything, but Vito won.
