The Y Twins, Mr. Y and Ms. Y, are the main antagonists of Streets of Rage 4.
They are the children of the late Mr. X, and are the leaders of the new organization, the Y Syndicate.
Biography[]
After defeating the corrupted Commissioner, Mr. Y makes his first appearance by introducing himself to Axel and his friends. He and his hitmen attempt to bribe them gold as a chance to stop the nonsense, but the four heroes refused, causing his hitmen to commence firing at them, forcing Axel and his friends to escape from the police office building falling into the water, boarding on a cargo ship where they defeat Nora who then crashed the ship into the pier.
Later on, while fighting Estel, Mr. Y corners the heroes on a helicopter and orders a corrupt police officer to fire a bazooka at the train sending them right into the nearby Art Gallery. Upon arriving at the top of the Y Tower, after Axel and his friends manage to free a corrupted Max Thunder from the music’s control, Mr. Y and his twin sister, Mr. Y tunes up the music to full blast, stunning the four heroes, until Estel intervenes and destroys the speakers. She betrays the evil Y Twins by trying to arrest them, but the Twins instantly made their escape.
After defeating DJ K. Washi, Axel and his friends decide to pursue the Y Twins. They board upon Mr. Y’s plane while fighting his hitmen. Upon confrontation, Mr. Y engages a battle the heroes on the plane. After being defeated, he manages to shoot his way out of his own plane to escape, destroying it in an attempt to kill the heroes.
Upon arriving on Y Island, Axel and his friends manage to enter the Twins castle. After fighting several goons, the four fighters confront Ms. Y in a fight, but immediately flees. Upon arriving, Axel and his friends finally meet face-to-face with the Y Twins in a final showdown. If Mr. Y or Ms. Y is beaten several times, he or she will pilot their secret weapon, a spider-like mech. After the Y Twins are finally defeated by Axel and his friends, they are arrested by Adam Hunter. Upon their defeat, peace has been restored, with Axel and his friends returning to their normal lives.
