Mrs., also referred to as SFR or SFR-044, sometimes also referred to as X-066, is the main antagonist of the indie horror game How to Date an Entity (and Stay Alive). Mrs. is a Lovecraftian monster who seems to have a strong attraction to human love, but doesn't fully understand it.
Biography[]
The origin of Mrs. is unknown, as she an entity that the human mind cannot comprehend. Her name alone drives people crazy. Her past is completely unknown, and nothing is known about her. She finds it fascinating to be called Mrs. by other humans, also due to her human allure.
Mrs. is a being who manifests as an exaggeratedly curvaceous woman with long, black hair and an inhuman, dead expression. Although she appears human at first glance, she can actually transform. In her original version is tentacled and deformed, giving her a Lovecraftian appearance. She can even reshape the bodies of other living creatures, and may be dissociative and possess different personalities that she uses depending on the situation.
Mrs. appears for the first time after appearing in a village where many disappeared in the past. Her appearance is discovered by the Supernatural Force Registry, which attempts to contain her for study.
The SFR warns civilians to stay home while Mrs. approaches the protagonist's home while being watched by an SFR cyborg scientist. When she knocks on the protagonist's door, she pretends to be a neighbor and, with seduction and kindness, makes her way into the house.
Together with the protagonist, instead of killing him, she attempts to connect with him, likely because Mrs. is extremely interested in human connections, or perhaps she gains energy from them, or perhaps she enjoys playing with humans.
For her, the idea of love is to dominate someone else; in this case, the protagonist must try to survive her. For her, controlling the minds of others is a way for her potential species to experience love. During her relationship with the protagonist, the latter must try to survive by taking advantage of Mrs.'s fascination with love and her quest for attention.
