Mrs. Packerton is a minor antagonist in the 2016 video game Sally Face.
She was the math teacher of Nockfell High, who was Sal Fisher's teacher. However, beneath her elderly demeanor lay a sinister side of her, as she was responsible for kidnapping several students of Nockfell High and turn them into bologna meat, who was later revealed to be a member of the supernatural cult known as The Devourers of God.
Appearance[]
Mrs. Packerton is a wrinkled, elderly woman with braided grey hair. She wears a clothing that consisted of a turquoise dress. She also had two turquoise earrings.
Personality[]
Although Mrs. Packerton's appearance was brief, she is shown in the Math Class as an upbeat and soft-spoken person who urges children to be alert and active. She also appears to be determined to reveal the Devourers' scheme.
Given that she keeps her dying husband alive in her room and takes care of him every day—and has presumably been doing so for years based on the many diapers scattered about the home—she may have a compassionate (or in reality, cruel) side.
Her elderly demeanor was considered a façade, as she was infamous for her brutality, being responsible for kidnapping several students of Nockfell High and turned them into bologna.
Background[]
Mrs. Packerton joined the Devourers of God, but it is unknown how, why, or when she did so. What is known is that she has remained devoted to them over the years that have followed. She was also responsible for holding her dying husband alive, who restrained him into a bed, while subjected to a life support that rendered him alive.
Packerton kidnapped scores of Nockfell High students in the weeks before the Bologna Incident, killed them, threw their bones into the Cult's Temple, and used the flesh to create the school's bologna.
Nockfell High School has a math test the day before the Bologna Incident, which Sal Fisher easily passes. Sal is urged by Packerton to remain up until the end of class, and Packerton advises school bully Travis Phelps to focus on his own work, to which he reluctantly obeyed.
She was killed by the Devourers of God, it may be assumed, to avoid being detected, but the circumstances leading up to the drunk driving accident that took her life remain unknown. This is further confirmed by a conversation between two unidentified cultists in the Phelps Temple, in which one of them rhetorically asks the other whether they "want to end up like the Packertons."
Trivia[]
- Given that all of the cult's captives were skinned and deboned, "Their Sins" is probably a reference to Packerton's victims.
- It is unknown whether the young Terrence Addison was given human flesh as part of being the entry point of The Endless One and Packerton giving the children human flesh.
