Stop hand

Mrs. Peng-Sniff is a minor antagonist in Pingu. She is Pingu's nosy and very grouchy neighbor.

She was voiced by the late, Carlo Bonomi.

Appearance[]

Mrs. Peng-Sniff is a tall penguin with a round head, and a short triangular pointy beak. In "Pingu Delivers the Mail" she wore yellow hair rollers. In "Pingu Gets a Warning" she wore a tatty head scarf.

Characters[]

Almost nothing is known about the personality and character of the Peng-Sniff. She is a very unfriendly person. He likes to spend whole days alone. And she doesn't like being disturbed.

History[]

Pingu Delivers the Mail[]

Pingu and his father pass by Mrs. Peng-Sniff, Pingu blows a raspberry Noot Noot at her.

She is later seen again beating her carpet with a penguin on it, Pingu is shocked to see it, as the penguin looks exactly like him.

Noise[]

Pingu and Pingg come across a yard, where Pingg proceeds to entertain Pingu by dancing around, but Mrs. Peng-Sniff pops her head out of the window and yells at them for their loudness, Pingo comes to join and they all these at her, she threatens them to hit them with her carpet beater, so the three young penguins go away as she misses with it, she leaves only to have her wing caught in the window.

When the young penguins play with the ball, Pingg accidentally throws the ball so far that it lands on Mrs. Peng-Sniff's roof which makes her so mad, that she takes their ball away.

When Pingu rings her doorbell she comes out and Pingu asks her if they can have their ball back, but she ignores and pushes him, so Pingu puts snow on her doorbell, so she comes out only to get herself locked out of her igloo. She tries so hard to open the door, but she can't get herself in, the young penguins laugh at her. Mrs. Peng-Sniff tries to get herself through the window, but she's too big to fit in. Pingu asks her if he can do it for her, Pingu unlocks the door, Mrs. Peng-Sniff is so grateful that she gives them their ball back, and they all go and play together, Mrs. Peng-Sniff joins in, but accidentally breaks her own window, which makes the young penguins laugh.

Pingu Gets a Warning[]

When the wind goes away, Pingo's kite lands onto Mrs. Peng-Sniff's carpet which makes her so mad that she takes his kite away, which traumatizes poor Pingo.

When Pingu ignores Pingo's warning, he does the same thing as Pingo which makes Mrs. Peng-Sniff so mad and she yells at him to stop what he's doing, she takes his kite away like she did with Pingo. Mrs. Peng-Sniff looks through her window to see what they're doing. Pingu and Pingo clean everything up, but she still doesn't forgive them. Pingu and Pingo yell at her to give them their kites back, but Mrs. Peng-Sniff tells them to stay away from her yard, which devastated the young penguins.
