Mrs. Toad is the overarching antagonist of 1994 animated film, Thumbelina. She is Grundel's mother.
She was voiced by Charo.
Biography[]
Mrs. Toad serves as the first antagonist to appear in Thumbelina.
She’s the mother of three sons and they’re a traveling family known as "The Singers De Espana".
She kidnaps Thumbelina while she’s asleep in her bed and tries to force her into joining her tour and marrying her son Grundel. Thumbelina kindly rejects the offer, but Mrs. Toad doesn't listen and rushes off to get her husband. She isn’t seen after this until the end credits where she’s seen happy for her son Grundel in finding a female toad to marry.

Mrs. Toad is a selfish, vain, busty, and arrogant toad who wants Thumbelina to marry her son, Grundel.
