Mugarissa
Mugarissa is one of the Warrior Beasts and an antagonist in the Great Mazinger anime, only appearing in the episode "Search and Destroy! Science Fortress Lab".
History
Mugarissa was sent in his cocoon by General Scarabeth. After a period of time, he came out and was positioned with the face toward Boss Borot. After that, he caused him to be unable to see, and break up the legs of Boss Borot into small parts. Mugarissa then put an end to the existence of the city by attacking it until Venus A and Borot threw him away. While Venus came and managed to put an end to the existence of Mugarissa's upper pair of arms by damaging them, and then put an end to the existence of his compound eyes by damaging them with her breast missiles. Mugarissa tried to run away from a dangerous situation, but the Great Mazinger took an aggressive action against him with the Thunder Break. As such, he destroyed one of his hind legs. Mugarissa then twisted the Great Mazinger into a confused mass with his silk threads, but Tetsuya freed himself using the Mazinger Blade and defended himself from a last-ditch acid attack. He used the sword to thrust it into Mugarissa's true face so as to wound or kill, and Mugarissa was then beheaded by the Great Mazinger with the Scrander's wings. He was able to fire an intensely hot blast of heat at Mugarissa's body.
Appearance
Mugarissa is an insectoid Warrior Beast that resembles a creature displaying a mixture of insects. He has a red abdomen of an earwig (although it has no actual pincers), black lower legs of a cricket, a gold torso of an ant, a brown head of a caterpillar, pink mandibles, yellow compound eyes, and four thin dark blue arms of a grasshopper. There is a larger upper pair with a pair of gray claws, and a smaller upper pair with a pair of silver drills. He also has a true face located on his forehead.
Powers and Abilities
Mugarissa has an ability to release silk, so that he can create cocoons for hibernation, and also an ability to be used for twisting opponents together into a confused mass. The claws on his upper arms have an ability to be extended to attack opponents. His compound eyes have an ability to release beams of light that are likely to temporarily blind opponents, and also an ability to release an acidic substance from its mouth.
