Mugly (Jauny in French Version) is the first boss character in Donkey Kong Country Returns. He resembles a yellow rhino-like creature. Mugly attacks intruders with its ramming horn and can also leap higher.
Biography
Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong first encountered Mugly gobbling up bananas. Mugly was then under the spell of the Kalimba. Once he had been bonked in the back three times, he got angrier and turned orange, then red after another three hits. Mugly then collapsed to the ground after beaten a few more times, while Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong punched Kalimba away.
