Mukaderiya is a centipede-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 16 of The Kagestar. He was created from Koichi Minamikawa, son of Dr. Minamikawa.
He is voiced by Eken Mine, who also voiced numerous monsters in the Kamen Rider series, including Garagaranda. As Koichi, he is played by Fuji Uchimura.
Biography[]
Mukaderiya was created by Doctor Satan after he kidnapped Koichi Minamikawa, son of Dr. Minamikawa, and brainwashed and remodeled him into one of his animal-themed kaijin. Doctor Satan then sent Mukaderiya to cause a water shortage by injecting his venom into Tokyo's water supply, in the hopes that it would lead to civilization falling and allow the Satan Empire to swoop in and take over.
Kageoh Sugata and Suzuko Kazamura soon went to investigate and encountered Dr. Minamikawa. However, the Satan Empire used Koichi to force the scientist to lead the two into a trap. After capturing Kageoh and Suzuko, Mukaderiya had them both placed in elaborate death traps in order to kill them. He had Kageoh tied to a table outside where he intended to burn him alive with a giant magnifying glass while Suzuko was tied up between two spiked walls that would slowly come together and crush her. However, Suzuko managed to undo her restraints and escape, becoming Bellestar and going to rescue Kageoh. After Kageoh was freed and became Kagestar, the two fought Mukaderiya, who fired his venomous spikes at them. The two dodged the spikes, but one hit Dr. Minamikawa and fatally wounded him. Before dying, Dr. Minamikawa asked Kagestar and Bellestar to stop his son and gave them a vial containing a mysterious liquid.
Mukaderiya later targeted a group of people trying to pump up seawater, but was confronted by Kagestar and Bellestar again. Kagestar splashed him with the liquid from the vial, which was a serum that nullified his regenerative powers, before using a "Kage Kick" to send Mukaderiya flying and destroy him.
