Mundungus Fletcher is a minor character in the Harry Potter franchise.
He is a half-blood wizard and a notorious petty criminal with a disreputable reputation. However, despite his behavior, he is one of the original members of the Order of the Phoenix, a group dedicated to fighting Lord Voldemort and his supporters, who are mainly the Death Eaters. Mundungus willingly joined the Order to oppose the ideology of Voldemort's faction. Despite this, many members of the Order have mixed feelings about him and complain about his illicit deals and cowardice. Nonetheless, he is very loyal to the Order's leader, Albus Dumbledore, who once got Mundungus out of serious trouble. Although he has no wish to betray the Order, Mundungus does not want to support it through direct battle, and even warned his companions that if they force him into dangerous situations he will be very likely to panic and flee.
