The Murasaki Brothers (ムラサキの兄弟 Murasaki no Kyōdai) are a family of ninjas that serves to the Red Ribbon Army and the younger twin brothers of Sergeant Mayor Murasaki. The group is formed by Kon (コン), Cha (チャ), Aka (アカ) and Nao (ナオ). They appear as minor antagonists during the Red Ribbon Army Saga in Dragon Ball.
Kon was voiced by Ryōichi Tanaka, Cha by Ikuya Sawaki, Aka by Michitaka Kobayashi and Nao by Masaharu Satō in Japanese, all of them by Duncan Brannan in the Funimation dub and Zane Sampson in the Blue Water dub.
Biography[]
During the fight between Goku and Murasaki in the 2nd floor of the Muscle Tower, the latter uses the Art of Division (ぶんしんじゅつ Bunshin no Jutsu) to summon his four brother to support him in battle. Kon attacks Goku with kunais, Cha with a British Webley Mk. IV revolver, Aka with a blowgun and Nao with a kusarigama. Goku initially has problems to beat them, since he believed that they are fake copies of the original Murasaki and he was trying to find the real one. Then Murasaki reveals the trick and his brothers introduces themselves to Goku. Then, they continue fighting with his strategy, but Goku manages to defeat and knock out all of them except Murasaki. They were presumably killed when Android 8 destroyed the Muscle Tower, however, in the anime Murasaki survives and takes one of the swords of his brothers to replace the Sasanisiki that was destroyed by Goku.
