~ Mushitaro explaining how his telepathy powers work to Nikawa while holding her captive.
|
Mushitaro Kuri is a minor antagonist in Ultraman Ace, serving as the main antagonist of the episode "A 300-Million-Year-Old Terrible-Monster Appears!". He is an evil manga artist who betrayed humanity and worked as an agent for Yapool, whom gave him control over the Terribe monster Garan in order to destroy humanity for him.
Biography[]
Wanting nothing more than power and control, Mushitaro at some point made a deal with the demon known as Yapool to act as an agent for him during his invasion of Earth so that he would give him anything he wanted in exchange. Following this, Mushitaro was given telepathy powers and complete control over Garan, a prehistoric fish who was transformed into a Terrible monster in order to destroy TAC and the rest of humanity.
With this new power, Mushitaro used it to kill anyone he hated, as well as to manipulate his old classmate Nikawa, one of the members of TAC into meeting him again so that he could marry her. While she was at his house, he drew a scene of TAC getting attacked by a truck. However, unbeknownst to her, the drawing was actually happening in real life due to his telepathy powers making it real.
Eventually though, when it turned out that Mushitaro had drugged Nikawa’s drink, he dropped the polite facade he was putting on and brought her to a hidden part of his house upstairs. There, he revealed his true intentions of making her marry him and even threatened her life by showing her the corpse of a previous woman who was too “stubborn” with his advances, revealing that Nikawa wasn’t the first woman he tried doing this too. Too make matters worse, Nikawa couldn’t contact TAC and Mushitaro was plotting to destroy TAC using Garan, who he started drawing to life.
Fortunately, TAC had gone to Mushitaro’s house to look for her and ultimately managed to rescue her and knock him out. However, once he woke up, he immediately summoned Garan again to get her back and to attack TAC. However, Nikawa also knew this and used herself as bait and flew one of the planes while the rest (excluding Seiji Hokuto) attacked from the ground.
During TAC’s battle against it, Garan shot down Hokuto’s plane, leading to him and Yuko transforming into Ultraman Ace. Afterwards the two began to fight, with Garan seemingly having the upper hand due to the assistance of Mushitaro and him drawing in fight scenes. However, Ace eventually came out on top and began blasting off Garan’s arms, causing tremendous pain to Mushitaro due to the two sharing a life force. Eventually though, Ultraman Ace finished Garan with his Metalium Beam, killing Mushitaro as well in the process, as well as destroying his home.
Trivia[]
- Despite being a minor antagonist, he is arguably one of the more eviler human villains in the franchise due to him attempting to force Nikawa into marrying him and him selling out humanity and working for Yapool in general.
