~ Mustached Star, ROMP.fla |
The Mustached Star is the leader of the Betrayers, an enigmatic cult, and the main antagonist of the Madness Combat short ROMP.fla.
History[]
ROMP.fla[]
As Sanford and Deimos finish despatching all the enemies in the second room of a facility in Nevada, the Mustached Star appears on a wall, and notes that a problem is detected. After this he fires a red beam that creates a star-shaped hole in the floor, through which Sanford and Deimos fall in.
Later, in the first room of another building in the facility, Sanford and Deimos were met by the Betrayers. The star appears on a wall in the room and says: THESE FAMILIAR FACES... YOUR ALLIES IN PURPOSE... HAVE BETRAYED YOU!, to which the Betrayers immediately begin attacking.
Continuing to fight their way through the facility, Sanford and Deimos cross a bridge which connects two buildings and enter the third building. As they arrive in the first room, the star smashes a hole into the wall, now sporting a giant, malicious grin, and announces that a 'Betrayal Upgrade' is imminent. Six Betrayers sporting red eyes and a similar grin burst into the room and rapidly overpower Sanford and Deimos, eventually killing both of them, all while the star continues to watch, twitching ominously.
Abilities[]
The Mustached Star is demonstrated to have the power to fire a destructive red energy beam, which he used to create a hole in the floor which Sanford and Deimos fell into. He can also bestow a 'Betrayal Upgrade' on the Betrayers, making them much stronger and less vulnerable to damage.
