Mustafa is a minor antagonist in the 1997 spy comedy film Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery and its 1999 sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.
He is the Arab-Lebanese henchman of Dr. Evil, as well as, his weapons designer, as he built the cryogenic chamber that was used to freeze him for a long time and the fire trap to kill some of the minions, including him.
He was portrayed by Will Ferrell, who also portrayed Lord Business in The LEGO Movie, Cam Brady in The Campaign, Franz Liebkind in The Producers, the title character in Megamind and Larry the Architect in the MTV Movie Awards parody of The Matrix Reloaded.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the first film, Mustafa appears at Dr. Evil's meeting inside his secret lair, along with the other henchmen.
Dr. Evil gets too frustrated that his followers failed to kill Austin Powers, his archenemy, so he kills several of them with trap fire, except for Mustafa and Frau Farbissina, to help them in their next plan. After Dr. Evil was thawed out for many years, he becomes extremely frustrated with Mustafa, as the thawing process caused Mr. Bigglesworth, his pet, to lose all his fur, causing him to throw himself into the fire pit. but unfortunately, he survives, and asks an unknown henchman to kill him, then the henchman enters the room and kills him by shooting him twice.
In the second film, he reappears after Austin Powers returns to the past, to attack him and Felicity Shagwell, but they hold him at gunpoint for information, being emotionally forced to answer a question after it has been asked. done three times. Apparently he was going to tell them about Dr. Evil's new plan, but Mini-Me, hidden, shoots him with a dart and falls off the cliff.
