Mutians are monsters created from humans dosed with Fallah mutagenics and antagonists in Shichisei Toshin Guyferd.
History[]
The Mutians were one of the two projects commissioned as part of Crown's program to develop the "ultimate trooper", the other being the Guyborgs developed by Minoh and his team. Under the direction of Shion, numerous human test subjects were exposed to Fallah to cause them to mutate, transforming them into monstrous Mutians. When Dr. Shiroishi, the head of the Fallah research team, found out what his research was being used for he attempted to burn it and defect, but Crown made copies of all his research and imprisoned him.
After one of the organization's test subjects, Gou Kazama, escaped and became Guyferd to fight them, Mister Bicross ordered Shion to use her Mutians to capture him so he could be studied. After the continued failures of the Mutians to defeat Guyferd however, Bicross went out to fight Guyferd himself and unveiled his own Mutian form. Following Bicross's defeat, Shion was contacted by Zodiac and instructed to blow up the Mutian Lab, as her research had already led to the development of a supersoldier series that was superior to the Mutians, the Metalferds based off of Guyferd himself.
