The Mysterious Menace are the main antagonistic faction of Woodle Tree 2 Deluxe. They are shadow-like monsters that steal the water tears from the Sage Protectors.

The Mysterious Menace are all shadow-like creatures in various sizes.
Personality[]
Overall, the Mysterious Menace lacks any true personality, namely desiring the water tears for an unknown reason and being hostile towards Woodle.
Biography[]
Members of the Mysterious Menace are seen during the beginning of the game, where the sky turns dark. Then the creatures take the water tears from the Sage Protectors. which causes them to be turned into stone. Leaving to save them from their fate, Woodle runs into various members of the Mysterious Menace, all attempting to kill them and guard the water tears. At the end of the game, Woodle defeats the group and returns the water tears back to the Sage Protectors. and the Mysterious Menace's are never heard or seen from again.

- During the beginning of the second game The Tree mentions to Woodle that ''something'' would try to break the balance of the Woodle Lands this could heavily imply that The Mysterious Menace's and their Leader have attempted to break the balance in the past or some other mysterious antagonistic force.
- Although the members of the mysterious menaces do not have an actual name, the brute's names are revealed to be Black Bogongos.
