Nadare Rouga (in Japanese: 狼牙ナダレ, Rōga Nadare) is the secondary antagonist in the 2004 Naruto film Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. He is the right-hand servant to Doto Kazahana and he helped him in a coup many years ago. Throughout the film, he tried to help Doto in achieving his goals.
He was voiced by the late Hirotaka Suzuoki in the Japanese version, and by Liam O'Brien in the English dubbed version.
Personality[]
Like the other henchmen and his master, he was arrogant about his fighting style. He felt that he could rival and defeat Kakashi Hatake and that he was a powerful ninja. Nadare was humble when he served his master and respected him. Nadare like his master also had a sadistic side as he was the one who suggested to Doto to implant the torture device on Naruto to control him.
Biography[]
Nadare was hired by Doto to participate in a coup that resulted in deaths of many people which included Doto's brother Sosetsu Kazahana and many others. Nadare also tried to retrieve the crystal from a young Koyuki Kazahana but she was rescued by the Leaf ninjas. Since that night, Doto became the daimyo of the Land of Snow and Nadare and his men were tasked with trying to capture Koyuki for many years.
When Koyuki returned to the Land of Snow to do the film, Rouga and his men appeared and attacked Sandayu and his men. The leaf ninja fought them. Nadare fought and clashed with Kakashi. Despite fighting them, Nadare and his men retreated without capturing Koyuki. Nadare and Doto returned later after appearing on a train. Nadare watched as Doto's henchmen killing of Sandayu and his men as they attempt to fight them. When Doto managed to capture Koyuki with his blimp, Nadare also captured Naruto who was an intruder. Nadare suggested to Doto that they placed a torture device on Naruto since the child had formidable amount of chakra. The torture device managed to suck out Naruto's chakra, knocking him unconscious.
Nadare appeared when Koyuki gave Doto the crystal and witnessed Koyuki's attempt at killing him. After Doto leaving with Koyuki, Nadare confronted Kakashi on the side of a mountain where they fought with Nadare's ice release before Kakashi's lightning cutter that damages the chakra armor but counters it. Afterwards, Kakashi managed to catch Nadare off guard when they both plummets down from the avalanche and used his taijutsu to slamming him headfirst to rock ground, breaking Nadare's spine and killing him instantly.
