Nam Sang-tae is the secondary antagonist in Season 1 of the 2017-2021 Korean TV series Voice. Nam is a gang boss and associate of Tae Gu Mo who has known him for a long time and initially aids him in covering up his killings.

He was played by Kim Roe Ha.

Biography

Nam Sang-tae knew Mo Tae Gu and his father Gi Bum Mo since he was young. Eventually, he became the boss of his own gang and a human trafficker known legally as the head of GP Development who uses his wealth like the Mos to pay off high-level public officials to escape justice. Nam is used by Mo Gi Bum to help his son escape justice by the hands of the "Mad Dog Detective" Moo Jin-hyuk, Kang Kwon-joo and the "Golden Team Time".

When Moo and Kang begin to uncover the identity of the serial killer who took away their loved ones, Nam is dispatched to dispose of the Moo as legal ways don't seem to get the job done. Nam killed Hwang Kyung-il when was to identiify Mo as the killer. Even when Nam has his men about to kill a kidnapped Moo, Moo feigns fearlessness and takes control of the situation and before that was defeating his henchmen.

Eventually, Nam is set to be the fall guy, but he is convinced by Moo to betray him and he decides to as he knows it is not worth it. Mo then kills Nam and insults him by calling him the Devil, as he not worth living.
