Namekujiga is a squid-themed monster of the Satan Empire and an antagonist in episode 28 of The Kagestar.

He is voiced by Shun Yashiro, who also voiced Gori Oliver in the same series as well as Birin in Choujin Bibyun.

Biography

Namekujiga was sent by Doctor Satan to spray people with his "Namekuji Shower", which would cause those hit by it to have a tattoo of the Satan Empire's logo appear on their right arm and slowly convert them into Satan Empire Combatants. The first person Namekujiga sprayed with his "Namekuji Shower" was Sakata, the coach of Takeshi's little league team. Sakata promptly went to the Kazamura Fishing Shop to attack Kageo and Suzuko with a baseball bat, but the two were able to capture him and bring him to a hospital for him to be examined.

While in the hospital, Sakata was visited by Takeshi and the little leaguers on his team. He was able to persuade them to let him out of the hospital and led them to Namekujiga so he could brainwash them as well. At the same time, Suzuko sensed that they were in danger and went to go rescue them. Just as Namekujiga was about to spray them, Suzuko showed up and stepped in the way to shield the children, resulting in her being brainwashed instead. As the children tried to escape, Namekujiga and his combatant, including Sakata, chased after them. They were able to recapture the children, but before Namekujiga could spray them, Kagestar showed up as well to rescue them.

Kageo was successful in rescuing the children, but soon after Suzuko appeared at Kazamura Fishing Shop and attacked him, leading him to tear her sleeve and discover that she had been hit with the spray as well. After Suzuko left the scene, Kageo went after Namekujiga to stop him and free Suzuko. Namekujiga attempted to kill Kageo with land mines he had placed, but Kageo evaded them and transformed into Kagestar to do battle. Namekujiga then summoned Bellestar to fight him and revealed that she now wore the uniform of a Satan Empire Combatant. However, Kagestar was able to get past her and the other combatants before tearing off Namekujiga's eye stalks, reverting the effects of his brainwashing. Restored to normal, Bellestar joined Kagestar in fighting Namekujiga and used her spin attack to knock Namekujiga into the air before Kagestar hit him with a "Kage Punch", sending him flying into the sea where he exploded.
