The Nameless Samurai, who bears the name "Masanori", is a supporting antagonist in 2020 Fantasy Open-World Role-Playing Video Game Genshin Impact.
He is an amnesiac Samurai who's formerly in-service in the Inazuman Narukami Shogunate, who defects from the Shogunate military and became a Ronin. In truth, he's actually Kenji Kazumichi, an old friend & once-comrade of Masanori. During the battle at Nazuchi Beach, he killed his old friend for defecting to Watatsumi Army, resulting a traumatic guilt that haunts him and becoming a ronin for the rest of his life. He can be fought as Mini-boss.
Story[]
Kenji Kazumichi was trained with his friend, Masanori, in the sword art at young age. Despite both of them being ridiculed for their poverty, they became the proficient fighters in Tenryou Commission & was promoted to Hatamoto. At some point in the battle at Nazuchi Beach, Kenji Kazumichi have slain the defector of Inazuman Shogunate and Watatsumi Army Soldier, who is none other than his friend, Masanori. The murder of Masanori led to Kenji Kazumichi becomes traumatized that he left the Shogunate Army, becoming the lone ronin in Kannazuka.
