Nami Kasakura (jap. 笠倉那海, Kasakura Nami) is the main antagonist of "Inspector Shiratori, Memories of the Cherry Blossom".
She's voiced by Yumi Tōma.
Past[]
At the age of 20, Nami began lending money to Yoshiro Somei, who said he didn't have enough of it anymore. But she didn't get a single yen back from him. She recently announced that she didn't have enough money, so Yoshiro borrowed the ring that Nami inherited from her mother. Nami became curious about what he wanted to do with the ring and followed him. Shortly thereafter, she then saw the ring on the hand of a woman who had been dating Yoshiro for two years
Present[]
When Ninzaburo Shiratori goes to his seat with a drink to go to the cinema, he bumps into Nami Kasakura on the way, causing his drink to fall on the floor. Then she offers him hers and the two start a conversation.
After the performance, Ayumi, who also attended the performance, suggests that the two should do things together more often. Nami asks the police officer for help and goes to her house with him and the Detective Boys. Once there, they discover a corpse as soon as they open the door. A little later, other police officers arrive and find out that the murdered man is Yoshiro Somei.
Conan finds evidence of Nami Kasakura's murder. Shiratori also makes similar discoveries and a little later sends Takagi back to the cinema to look for clues that can advance the clarification of this case. When he arrives at the cinema, Shiratori asks Takagi to take the evidence to the trophy's forum. Conan is confused as to why Shiratori isn't asking about the cherry blossom decoration, which he should have recognized as a crucial clue as well. When Shiratori enters the kitchen shortly afterwards, Conan asks him why he didn't ask for this piece of evidence. He initially denies seeing through the case, but when Conan warns him that personal feelings shouldn't play a role in a case, he orders Takagi in another call to bring back the final and crucial piece of evidence.
Some time later, with the help of the Detective Boys, Shiratori manages to solve the case and convict Nami Kasakura as the murderer. Her motive was relationship problems. Yoshiro borrowed tons of money from Nami for seven years and never returned it. Then, when Nami saw the ring her mother left her on another woman's hand, she decided to murder Yoshiro. When Megure interjects why she didn't call the police, she replies that Yoshiro claimed seven years of her life and that jail time can't compensate for that.
