Nana is a major antagonist of the manga Magical Girl Site and the main antagonist of its anime adaptation. She is one of the Site Admins of the Magical Girl Site, a mysterious website that gives out magical sticks to unfortunate girls to become Magical Girls. Her real human identity is revealed to be the fallen Magical Girl Hyoka Nagatsuki, the main protagonist of the spin-off manga Magical Girl Site Sept.
In the anime, she was voiced by Ryūsei Nakao, who also voiced Frieza in the Dragon Ball series, Agent Abrella in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, Mayuri Kurotsuchi in Bleach, and Caesar Clown in One Piece.
Biography[]
Nana is the admin who gave Aya Asagiri, Tsuyuno Yatsumura, Rina Shioi, Nijimi Anazawa, and other girls who suffered misfortune their sticks after they came across the Magical Girl Site. She also manipulated Rina into gathering the sticks given out by the other admins, turning her into a serial killer. But soon, Rina uses too much stick energy that she falls into a coma. At the hospital, Nana meets Sarina Shizukume, Aya's bully who was in the hospital after Yatsumura cut her neck and spotted the two. Nana manipulates Sarina to become the next magical girl killer so she could get revenge on Aya and Yatsumura, giving her a stick.
When Sarina goes after Aya and Yatsumura only for Aya to save her from the collapsing apartment, she goes after Nana for answers. Nana tells her to mind her own business. Sarina soon discovers a back page to the Magical Girl Site website by clicking Nana's ear, revealing hidden information on the Tempest, and realizes Nana was only using her.
After Nijimi is killed by Kaname Asagiri, Nana causes the building holding the funeral to collapse in an attempt to kill the Magical Girls. However, Aya teleports everyone away having been warned beforehand by Sarina. The girls decide to team up and stop the Magical Girl Site, seeking to bring one of the admins to question. After the girls defeat the admin Ni, Nana appears and wounds Sarina for betraying her. Yatsumura sacrifices herself and protects the others in her created barrier as the last of her life force is drained away, turning her into an admin.

Nana sarcastically welcomed her to the admins. Nana then reappears with a brainwashed Yatsumura, and reveals to Aya that in order to achieve her transformation, Yatsumura need negative energy and that Aya is one who has this energy.
After a fight between Aya and Yatsumura, Aya manages to return Yatsumura to her senses by showing her the ocean before using half of her remaining life force to bring Yatsumura back to life, much to Nana's shock. Yatsumura uses her stick to freeze time and Aya uses hers to teleport Nana in front of a train. Nana asks the two if they were miserable, but the two disagree and restore time, causing Nana to be struck by the train.

Nana meet Kaname Asagiri in the hospital. She explain him everything about the tempest and the magic sticks. However after Sites Admins appears, Nana ask Kaname to gain some magic sticks before fighting the two admins. She arrives to kills the two Sites Admins and flee
Later, Nana is encountered by Ichi who is here to eliminate her. Nana tries to fight him, however he has many magical powers and Nana is overwhelmed. She is narrowly saved by Isoko Anju who teleported her near her, Misumi and Alice.
Isoko explains the life of Nana before she became a Site Admins and upon recovering her memory from before decided that she didn't want to live in a world of human without emotions and decided to join the others to stop the Tempest. They later meet Aya's group.
When Aya point her magic stick on her, she agrees to let her see her memories. With that, Aya learns everything about the Tempest, the King and the Magical Girl Site. Nana explains also the roles of the Magical Girls and the weakness of the King which is the negative energy given by males. She explain also that she doesn't want a new world where the humans feelings change and that she likes humans as they are now. When the Sites Admins appears, she fight alongside the Magical Girls.
At the end of the manga, she is resurrected by Aya in the new Earth. When she claim she don't understand why Aya resurrected her, claiming her life has no value, which Makoto Hinomoto answers than no life has no value.
Appearance[]
Nana appears as a little girl with black hair and pigtails. She wears a black Catholic school jumper with a white short-sleeved collared shirt underneath. Her skin is pure white lacking any pigment. Her face is masculine in style, with blank black eyes, a flat nose, and a grinning open mouth.
Personality[]
Nana is manipulative, using multiple people as pawns to collect as much misfortune from humans. She shows no remorse for the people she kills to fulfill her goals. In the manga it is actually revealed that she loves humans (but only because she sees their defaults funny) and doesn't want them to perish. Because of that, she decided to join Aya's group against the King and the Sites admins.
Trivia[]
- The sticks Nana gives out are decorated with small angel wings. Their Magical Girl users have emblems ranging from shapes and symbols to Greek letters.
- The other Site Admins distrust Nana because she is the only one who cooperates with humans in her schemes.
- In Chapter 139 of the manga, Nana becomes the last remaining Site Admin after Ichi becomes the Earth's new core.
