Nazo's Subordinates are major antagonists of the Golden Bat franchise. They are a group of humans (save for their species being otherwise mysterious depending on the continuity) dressed in dark suits who work for Dr. Zero as his army to help him with his evil plans.
Like their boss, who is a Nazi remnant, they also appear to be Neo-Nazis as in the Anime, they are shown to do the Nazi salute when saluting their boss Dr. Zero.
Overview[]
They are a group of soldiers whose goal is to help Dr. Zero defeat the Golden Bat, however they have no capability of defeating the latter due to being incredibly powerful compared to them. If they fail to do so, much to the annoyance of Zero, he shows little to no sympathy to them and blasts them with his laser eyes as a punishment. In the anime, their lituenant is Gorgo who abuses them similar to the way Zero does.
Personalities[]
The guards have similar qualities to Dr. Zero. All of them appear to be super cold-hearted, cruel, have no regards to human life and don't even hesitate to kill children. They're also shown to be incompetent since they often let our heroes escape and are thus terrified of Golden Bat due to his power, causing them to oftentimes flee.
The guards are terrified of Dr. Zero due to his power and would threaten to kill them if they failed their mission, and if they did, they would beg him to spare their lives, but to avail, unlike Gorgo, Zero would often just blast them anyway due to his intolerance for failure. He also considers them to be worthless and sees them as nothing but tools.
Trivia[]
- Their original costume designs of the kamishibai resemble Ku Klux Klan suits.
- Some members have empty white eyes as opposed to having pupils.
- In the original Japanese version of the Anime, some of them speak in accents, hinting they all came from different countries.
