Nebulous Noob, also known as Neb, is the main antagonist of the third entry to the The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox trilogy, serving as the one of the three main antagonists (alongside King Noob (TDTNTOR 1) and Queen Noob (TDTNTOR 2))
In The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox 2, he specifically serves as the main antagonist of the Doomsday bonus chapter, and a minor character in Ogg Vorbis and The Fate of Blink.
He is the brother of King Noob, who took over ROBLOX 10 years prior. Nebulous is responsible for launching the nukes that cause destruction all over ROBLOX. During the entirety of TDTNTOR 3, the player is tasked to find him and take nebulous down. After the player defeats the Knight (who is revealed to be Prince Noob in the paid bonus chapter Where the Pieces Go) and Bixby, the Sorcerer, as well as recruiting Agent X14, Blink and King Noob, the player confronts Nebulous in his castle.
At this point, it is shown that ROBLOX was not actually destroyed. Nebulous Revealed that the nukes were made out of noobanium, and that he instead pushed ROBLOX into the future, allowing him to bring it back as he pleased. He had baited the player the entire time. Despite this, after the fight he is still saved by the player as his fortress collapses, ultimately reforming himself and apologizing to the non-noobs for what he had done.
Biography[]
The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox 2[]
Ogg Vorbis[]
In 2010, during ROBLOX's 2nd Annual Egg Rain, Nebulous Noob was trying to get his nephews to see the egg drop, trying to guarantee safety just like everyone else. Nebulous gets into an argument with the Mayor of Bloxburg as he and his family aren't guaranteed any safety due to his brother's attempt at taking over ROBLOX a year earlier. Nebulous Noob then tells him that if he didn't bring his niece and nephew with him, he would have given him a "scenic view of the ground" (meaning he would have been either punched or killed by the former, depending on interpretation). He is not seen again for the rest of the chapter.
The Fate of Blink[]
In April 2013, On the same day that the player would arrive to save Agent X14, Nebulous Noob attends a meeting with the CEO of EyeSpy Industries, who set a vacation protocol so he would not have any visitors disturb his meeting. In reality, he came to steal something from Eyespy Industries, presumably either Eyespy tech or the Miner Mech. When the facility was starting to collapse, the CEO was about to terminate Blink from her position (as in kill her), who is stopped by Nebulous, who hit him in the head really hard. Nebulous still needed the CEO for something, and also didn't see Blink as "replaceable". Nebulous kidnaps the CEO, and offscreen spins a few lies to get what he wants, noted from his dialogue prior. He is not seen again for the rest of the chapter.
Doomsday[]
After stealing a Miner Mech from Eyespy Industries, he talks to the player while they travel through the obstacle course, eventually confronting them. The player Defeats his Mech, but not him, and neither did the player stop the nuclear missiles from hitting ROBLOX, causing its "destruction". This is where the events of The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox 3 begin.
The Day The Noobs Took Over Roblox 3[]
After the "bombing", Nebulous Noob is first mentioned through wanted posters placed around King Noob's castle. After arriving in the throne room, the player is confronted by King Noob, who reveals that he wasn't the one who destroyed ROBLOX, as Ace suspected. It was none other than Nebulous Noob, his brother. He and the player then decide to work together to stop his evil plans.
Prior to this, Nebulous sent out Bixby (the sorcerer) to go after the player, in an attempt to get rid of him. on all three attempts, Bixby ultimately fails. It is currently unknown if the player either spared Bixby or outright killed her in her final attempt.
He is not seen physically until near the end of the game. in Chapter 6, where he watches the player traversing through his fortress via a large screen. Eventually, he finally meets the player face to face, mocking them as being more pathetic in person, killing his brother and that it will be their turn to die, before engaging them in a final battle.
Phase 1[]
Nebulous Noob summons a speaker from the ground, using his guitar to produce shockwaves around the arena that the player must avoid. To beat him, the player must unplug the speaker's multiple plugs while avoiding the music notes and the shockwaves (by simply jumping above them).
After beating him, he tells the player that they are just like his brother, who in his final moments chose to fight. Nebulous senses that the player wanted to kill Queen Noob. If you were to have spared Bixby during her fight, Nebulous would say that he "appreciates" your mercy for Bixby. Nebulous reveals that he baited the player the entire time, as the nukes were made out of Noobanium, meaning that instead of destroying everything, they send all of the things forward in time. He then vows to bring ROBLOX back when he is done with them, but in his own image, starting Phase 2.
Phase 2[]
Nebulous Noob gets off his speaker and rushes towards the player to attack them with his guitar. While it may look simple to defeat him during this phase as all you need to do is to damage him with the sword, he spawns shockwaves and music notes in a much faster rate, which may quickly kill them. The best way to defeat him is to use the Charge ability several times, as the forcefield it grants allows them to deal damage without worrying about his fast attacks.
Endings[]
After his health is completely depleted, he kneels down on the ground in pain, finally ending his evil plan for good. However, the tower's core gets destroyed, causing it to slowly collapse. During the player's escape, they can either save Nebulous, alongside King Noob or individually, resulting in multiple endings.
If the player only saves Nebulous Noob, Nebulous askes the player "why save me and not my brother?". Several days later, the player confronts him, locked behind bars. If the player were to have spared Bixby, Bixby would appear and tell nebulous how hotheaded he was. Nebulous realizes that everything happened because of his anger towards the Player, not moving on. Bixby thanks the player for keeping nebulous save. The player leaves. However, if Bixby wasn't spared, Nebulous would rant on how he was going to kill the player. The player leaves.
If the player decides to save both King Noob and Nebulous Noob, sacrificing their life, both Nebulous and King Noob are seen escaping the fortress as it explodes, killing the player. They both witness the remains of the fortress along with the other Allies of the player. Nebulous Noob is sentenced to prison for his crimes; but is released under good behavior not long after, apologizing to the non-noobs for his actions.
Alternatively, he can be killed in the explosion of his fortress if the player only saves King Noob. Despite King Noob being upset that they couldn't save him, he is still proud of them growing a lot as a person, understanding why they decided to leave Nebulous Noob to die, due to what he had done to ROBLOX.
