Octavo, better known as the NecroDancer, is the titular secondary antagonist of Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer, a crossover game between The Legend of Zelda and Crypt of the NecroDancer, serving as the main antagonist of its post-game mode, Octavo's Ode.
He is a future version of Octavo who succeeded in defeating Ganon. However, unexpectedly, Octavo would then take over Hyrule himself, turning into the NecroDancer.

Octavo's Ode[]
The future Octavo, known as the NecroDancer, vanquished Ganondorf before he could become a powerful man. Living in the Future World, he is ready to take control of the Kingdom of Hyrule. Octavo intends to thwart Ganon's nefarious schemes after going to the Future World to battle him, only to discover the corrupted world his future self had created.
Octavo then fights the NecroDancer in order to stop this madness. Octavo defeats his future self and then uses the two Golden Lutes to go back in time to before he took action to alter the Kingdom of Hyrule's destiny.
