NegaDuck is the main antagonist of his namesake episode in Darkwing Duck.
Appearance[]
NegaDuck initially resembles Darkwing himself save for a meaner pair of eyebrows.
Following his galvanization as a result of being hit by the tronsplitter, he gains a black and white recolor of Darkwing Duck's appearance and has visible electricity coming from his body. His irises are also now red.
Biography[]
When Darkwing Duck gets into a scuffle with Megavolt into a middle of a robbery that leads to the former getting hit by his tronsplitter, he ends up turned into two separate beings, one of them being an entity called NegaDuck who desires more profit than the crime fighting of his merged self.
While his good half forgives Gosalyn for breaking a statue of himself, NegaDuck arrives soon after and is angry at this in contrast and tells her "I'll ground you alright..." by turning her into hamburger and will pay for it for the rest of her life.
This alerts his good half to his presence when he comes to get Gosalyn ready for her bubble bath. The good half asks NegaDuck if they met before. NegaDuck responds by pulling his counterpart's beak and complaining it's getting his face ugly. This prompts Launchpad and Gosalyn to hide the duo in the kitchen when the Muddlefoots visit. However, NegaDuck manages to get out a couple times before Gosalyn escorts him back in.
The duo get into a fight before NegaDuck gets knocked out. This prompts Gosalyn, Launchpad, and the youngest Muddlefoot to tie the duo up and analyze their DNA where they discover he was split in two. After NegaDuck manages to escape capture, he ties his good counterpart up with dynamite before running off. After breaking into a movie theater, he causes trouble for the audience before watching a scene of two little bunnies much to his disappointment as he wanted to see car wrecks and gunplay.
Furious at this, NegaDuck opens fire in the theater much to the ire of the audience. NegaDuck rushes into the movie and arms himself with a tank to reign terror on the audience. When Launchpad and Gosalyn take the good Darkwing on a manhunt in search of NegaDuck, the negatron half himself confronts the three soon into the hunt. NegaDuck flees to leave his positron counterpart to be attacked by a mob. NegaDuck then hunts down Megavolt in hopes of destroying the tronsplitter so it cannot be used against him.
NegaDuck was able to track down Megavolt in a bar much to his irritation. NegaDuck activates one of Megavolt's devices and splashes him with water to zap him. When Megavolt realizes that NegaDuck was created as a result of his tronsplitter, he offers to become partners in crime with him. Something the Negatron copy accepts but wants to see the tronsplitter first.
After managing to find the tronsplitter, NegaDuck grabs a sledgehammer and tries to smash it. After he gets hit by the tronsplitter, NegaDuck evolves into a more powerful form with a more electronic voice. Uncaring about crimes alone, NegaDuck now desires mindless and wanton destruction. He starts his rampage by planning to lay waste on St. Canard. Megavolt drags the good Darkwing Duck and runs off with him as there would not be anything left to rob if NegaDuck destroys St. Canard.
When the good Darkwing's first attempt to stop him and fails, Megavolt galvanizes him so he can stand a chance against NegaDuck, undoing his destruction done to the city and faces off against his evil counterpart in time to remerge.
