Neil Nagi is a minor antagonist in the first season of the TV series 24. He was a mercenary working for Ira Gaines and assisting him in the assassination plot of Senator David Palmer.

He was portrayed by Al Leong who also portrayed Uli in Die Hard and Endo in Lethal Weapon.

Biography

Neil was one of the mercenaries who guarded the compound when Teri and Kim was kidnapped alongside Eli Stram. After the assassination on Palmer orginally failed, Gaines ordered him and Stram to kill Teri and Kim, but changed his mind just as the two mercenaries was about to kill them.

Neil was also on guard when Kevin Carroll arrived back with Jack Bauer hiding in the back, which Neil was unaware of, and let them in. He then later to his surprise found Kevin unconscious in his car and immediately called Gaines. After they woke up Kevin and he informed them that Bauer was on the premise, Rick Allen drove away with the van to pick the Bauers up, making them rush to stop them. They managed to stop the van and forced them to flee into the forest.

While searching for the Bauers, Neil closed in on Teri and Kim, though he left when Gaines radioed him to return. However, just as the girls felt safe, Neil had ended up looping around and attempted to take them out. But then, fortunately for the Bauers but uninfortunately for Neil, Jack Bauer showed up just in time to shoot Neil dead and save his family.

• Despite his name being spelled "Neil" in-universe, he is credited as "Neill" in the episodes end credits.
