Nendogami is a Tsukumogami created by Dark Shadow and an antagonist in episode 14 of GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
He was voiced by Keiichi Sonobe, who previously voiced Mad Scientist Genbu in Mirai Sentai Timeranger and Angorl in Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger, and who would go on to voice Yokai Fudagaeshi in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.
Biography[]
Nendogami was created from clay and a digital camera. He disguised himself as a woman named "Miria" and claimed to be Natsuki's younger sister in order to get close to her. As Miria, Nendogami told Natsuki that her real name was "Yuria" and that Masumi had killed their parents and caused her to develop amnesia so he could use her for her power. Miria also showed Natsuki that she had the same bracelet as her to add credence to her claims, and gave her both bracelets claiming that together they would amplify their power.
While they were sleeping together, Natsuki had a dream about Masumi being nice to her, but Nendogami used his powers to change the dream to make Masumi evil in it and have him mistreat Natsuki. Nendogami would go on to brainwash Natsuki using the bracelet he had given her and make her attack her teammates, but Masumi was able to snap Natsuki out of Nendogami's trance by saying he thought she was cute and destroying the bracelet. Nendogami was then destroyed by BoukenYellow using the DualCrusher, but was revived and enlarged, causing the Boukengers to form DaiBouken to battle him. Nendogami took Masumi's form to make Natsuki reluctant to battle him, but Natsuki knew it wasn't the real Masumi and attacked him anyway. Nendogami was then struck down and destroyed again, for good.
Personality[]
Nendogami was a cunning, ruthless, sadistic and unpredictable Tsukumogami, that was also extremely manipulative, cold-hearted and deceptive. He was shown to be quite cunning, arrogant and deceitful with his plan to turn Natsuki into an asset for the Dark Shadow by manipulating and playing on her emotions and trying to turn her against her friends. Unlike the other Tsukumogami, who were extremely arrogant, brutish and rampaging this Tsukumogami was far more calculating and deceptive and preferred to use more cheating and deception to trick his enemies. However, just like many other villains in fiction, beneath his cold and manipulative nature, Nendogami was an arrogant and confident and made a mistake at some point that gave away himself, since he was finally uncovered and revealed as a heinous cheater by the Boukengers and defeated by Natsuki, who finally discovered his cheating.
