Hitoshi Hanamura, also known as Neon, is a minor antagonist of Digimon Data Squad as he only appears in episode 8, The Singer's Secret.
He is voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, who also voiced Sasuke Uchiha.

Years later, they were reunited when he becomes a well-known pop singer under the alias "Neon Hanamura". He rose to popularity which attracted the attention of DATS, the organization, unknown to him, Yoshino is working for. Unknown to her, he is secretly using a Digimon named Keramon to manipulate digital information to widen the audience of his music, as well as manipulating statistics for downloads and rankings of his songs.

After Kurisarimon is destroyed, Neon witnessed Yoshino erased a photographer's memory of the events. Realizing that she has to erase his memory as part of DATS policy including the times they shared together, he easily accepts his fate, although he has a regretful look on his face.

- Neon shares his last name with Yosuke Hanamura from Persona 4. They are both voiced by Yuri Lowenthal.
- Neon is similar to the following villains:
- Carl Bruner from Ghost. At first, they were friends of the protagonists, but became their enemies after their method of gaining money through illegal ways is discovered. They even have breakdowns from being discovered.
- Luke Castellan from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Both started out as good people and were in good terms with the main female (Neon: Yoshino, Luke: Annabeth), but became an enemy when their respective schemes have been exposed.
