The Neros Empire is a consortium of various criminal and terrorist organizations and the main antagonists of Choujinki Metalder.
They were formed and led by God Neros using his vast wealth and underworld influence. They are divided into four armies that serve under Neros, each led by a "Victorious Saint". Their goal is to conquer the world through domination of its arms market. Their base is the Ghost Bank, where the leaders of the Four Armies meet with Neros to discuss their plans for domination.
Their public front is the Kirihara Konzern, a corporation led by Neros in his human guise of "Gozo Kirihara".
History[]
After escaping punishment for his crimes in World War II, Kunio Muraki moved to America where he joined its largest criminal syndicate and rose to the position of leader. Muraki would then annex all of the other major crime organizations and use their resources to establish the Kirihara Konzern, assuming a new identity as rich philanthropist Gozo Kirihara.
Underneath the Kirihara Konzern, Gozo assumed the identity of God Neros and established the Neros Empire as a union of various worldwide underworld organizations. The Neros Empire secretly supported various criminal and terrorist activities across the globe, seeking to dominate the world through domination of the arms trade, all while using the Kirihara Konzern as a front to conceal their schemes. To this end, the Neros Empire spread famine and war across the world, hoping to use the chaos generated from it to create an opportunity to seize power.
Dr. Koga soon became aware of the Neros Empire's activities and sought to reactivate his creation Metalder to fight against them. The Neros forces succeeded in killing Koga, but were unable to stop him from reawakening Metalder, who from then on fought to defend the world from the Neros Empire and avenge his creator.
Ghost Bank[]
The Ghost Bank is the secret headquarters of the Neros Empire. It is from here that Neros and his followers plot to manipulate world events for their agenda of global domination. It exists deep underground and is capable of mobility to keep from being discovered, though it usually resides under the building for the Kirihara Konzern. Because of this, the only way to enter it is through a series of gates accessible only by Neros and his Four Armies.
The Ghost Bank contains chambers for each of the Four Armies, as well as other rooms such as an area for repairing robots or reviving dead moners. The main area, a hall that contains the throne of Neros and has doors to all of the other rooms.
