The New Bosquito are a subspecies of Bosquito serving as the main antagonists of Chousei Kantai Sazer-X The Movie: Fight! Star Warriors. They appear in large numbers and are a hive-mind governed by the Mammoth Bosquito.
History[]
A group of New Bosquito were evidently involved in the Bosquito's ancient war against Earth's human civilization, given how a group of them was sealed beneath the ocean.
Although most of the Bosquito were wiped out when Warp Monarch bombarded Earth, a group of New Bosquito survived off-planet and sailed the universe in the Phantom Ship searching for new planets to terrorize. They attacked Planet Borum and wiped out most of its inhabitants save for a select few that included a boy named Riki, who the Phantom Ship kept imprisoned within it in pods so it could save their energy for later.
The Phantom Ship later came to Earth and was encountered by the Space Pirate Fleet Descal, who were also trying to conquer the planet. Descal's Three Shoguns boarded the Phantom Ship and learned of the existence of the Bosquito, including the New Bosquito that were sealed on Earth. The Descal decided to awaken the Bosquito so it could distract Sazer-X while they made their move to acquire the Cosmo Capsules and sent a Bulgario down to give energy to the imprisoned New Bosquito so it could break its seal. Upon escaping, the New Bosquito absorbed the Justi Crystal to become evil versions of the Justirisers and went on a rampage. Sazer-X soon showed up to battle the New Bosquito, as did the three Justirisers even though they no longer had the power to transform. However, with help from Mio Tendo the Justirisers were able to regain their powers and join Sazer-X to fight the New Bosquito side-by-side with them. They were also joined by the 12 Gransazers after Riki and Professor Horiguchi summoned them from the Crystal Slab.
Although the Sei Shin warriors were able to wipe out most of the New Bosquito, the Phantom Ship absorbed the energy of the remaining ones to reveal its true form as the Mammoth Bosquito. The Mammoth Bosquito battled all three Sei Shin teams in their mecha and initially overpowered them at first, but the Chouseishin, Genseishin and Ryuuseishin all combined their powers to give to Great-Lio, which performed a finishing attack to destroy the Mammoth Bosquito and finish off the last of the New Bosquito.
