The New Fish, also called the Kid. is the titular main antagonist of the 2013 r/nosleep Creepypasta The New Fish by T.W Grimm.
He appears to be a young man imprisoned for being a serial killer, but he's actually centuries old and imbued with demonic powers thanks to his devil worship.
Appearance[]
The Kid is described as "the prettiest little sweet-boy this whole penitentiary has ever seen", with an almost angelic appearance of being physically attractive, fair-haired, and skinny. In addition, the Kid is said to have emotionless, cold eyes.
Biography[]
The Kid was apparently born some time in late 1800s Canada, a feral child who was raised in the forest. When he was sixteen, he was imprisoned for serial killings and Satanism. When he killed and ate his cellmate, he was institutionalized in a lunatic asylum. He then killed his doctor during an attempted lobotomy and was finally sentenced to death by a jury. However, all attempts at executing him failed, as the gallows' trap door wouldn't open and the firing squad's guns all jammed. Unable to kill him, the authorities decided to simply seal him in a secret prison cell forever. He perpetually haunts the prison, emerging every few decades as a supposed "new fish" to terrorize each generation of prisoners. In one instance, he broke out and slaughtered the entire security staff, in full view of the prison block's inmates. The Kid then put a curse on all the witnesses, hunting them down one-by-one over the span of decades.
