Nicholas Crispin is a minor antagonist in the 2014 video game Watch Dogs. He is a psychopathic and perverted mob associate who is the target of the mission "Stare into the Abyss".
He was voiced by Julian Casey.
Biography[]
Crispin was expatriated from America in 2001 for unknown reasons. However, through his business of "international trade", most likely human trafficking, he was able to remain in contact with Chicago mob boss Lucky Quinn. During his time in Europe, Crispin gained an infamous reputation for abusing and murdering women who he had sex with, with unconfirmed rumours of cannibalism and torture running rife when the player visits the Infinite 92 club under Crispin's name. Even Crispin's bodyguards speak ill of him, with one stating that he will refuse to take a bullet for him.
Preparing to infiltrate Lucky Quinn's sex trafficking auction to scan Iraq's dog tags, Clara finds Crispin's data in the list of invites and Aiden Pearce chooses to use his identity as cover to infiltrate the auction. Of course, since Aiden plans on stealing his identity, this means that he cannot leave Crispin alive. Clara is reluctant to take part in his murder, despite his history of violence against women. Aiden notices this and realizes he needs to be careful not to scare Clara off with his methods, but also notes that Crispin is his best chance to get inside Quinn's auction and that he needs to disappear.
During the mission "Stare into the Abyss", Crispin is seen at a car dealership prior to attending Quinn's sex slave auction. Using Quinn's tab, he purchases a sports car (a purple Luciano) and tells the owner that it had better be ready when he gets back before leaving, though his bodyguards remain inside the building. Unfortunately for Crispin, Aiden arrives and guns him down outside the dealership. As previously mentioned, Aiden then visits Infinite 92 under Crispin's name, using the opportunity to rescue an escort named Poppy who Crispin was going to buy at the auction.
Aiden later attends the auction under the guise of Crispin, where he manages to encounter Iraq and scan his dog tags, giving him access to Iraq's server room. He also meets and has a short dialogue with Lucky Quinn. He is forced to leave quickly however, as reports soon come in on Crispin's assassination. Thankfully, Aiden escapes and calls the police on the shootout that occurred, causing the cops to find the girls being trafficked in the auction, including Poppy, as well as arrest the buyers there. While a number of the bidders managed to escape, they would soon fall on Aiden Pearce's radar, causing him to hunt down and expose each of them, shutting down Quinn's human trafficking ring for good.
