| “ | Wrong - it stands for European C*nts Helping Refugees - and you know what? That's the real gang that needs smashing. Bloody do gooders with their morals. When Reform is elected, we'll leave the ECHR within 60 seconds of taking power, send all women, including my German ex-wife, back to the Taliban, the navy will mind the English channel, and the RAF will have a squadron of spitfires patrolling it 24/7. There you are. | „ |
| ~ Nigel Farage on his plans for Britain as he reveals his heartless nature. |
Nigel Paul Farage is the main antagonist of the spinoff of the ITV series Spitting Image. The Rest is Bullshit.
He is a parody of the controversial British politician and the Leader of Reform UK Nigel Farage, whose controversial far-right and extreme nationalist policies and opinions saw him depicted in a villainous manner in the show, which depicts him as a charismatic but violent and bigoted fascist/Neo-Nazi.
He is voiced by Lewis MacLeod, who also portrayed Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Michael Gove and Coroni in the same series, The Entity and the Jester in the third instalment of the Mr. Hopp's Playground franchise, Protoboy, General Yakitori, Bjorn Bjornson, Bjornbot, Truckenstein, and Felonious Hexx, among other villains in Robotboy, IG-88 and Sebulba in Star Wars, Lucy Simian in Season 1 of The Amazing World of Gumball, Bluebeard in Sandra: The FairyTale Detective, and Zaid in Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Physical appearance[]
Farage's puppet is an exaggerated caricature of the politicians real appearance - presented with a massive overbite, bucked teeth and and squished nose. He has receding grey hair and tends to wear fascist or Nazi merch, along with knuckle dusters.
Personality[]
Farage is portrayed as a charismatic but deeply xenophobic individual, declaring a desire to "deport all women, including [his] ex wife, back to the Taliban" and make Britain "great again" by deporting migrants and ethnic minorities. He is shown to be an exthusiastic Nazi, accessorising himself to "make the salute really pop", and violent, attacking Keir Starmer in the middle of a speech. Much like the real life politician, he is likely very fond of Donald Trump and possibly Vladamir Putin.
Biography[]
Background[]
Farage was a member of the European Parliament in the 90s before becoming the leader of UKIP in 2006. He founded the Brexit Party, later renamed as "Reform UK" in 2018, becoming its on and off leader until being elected to parliament in 2024, where he represents Reform UK in the House of Commons.
Spitting Image[]
Farage is first portrayed in the "London Fascist Week" segment, hanging around a group of several rioters and neo-nazis and advertising Nazi memorabilia. He is later seen attacking Starmer during his album presentation, and then again in a vesion of "The Weakest Link" hosted by Piers Morgan. Here, he repeatedly outmanouvers Kemi Badenoch, declares his fascist intentions as Badenoch is voted "The Weakest Political Link". He then reappears complaining about the colour of beer (considering it "not white enough") before Prince Harry pitches the drug "Cream of Farage".
Nigel Farage appears again in Keir Starmer's nightmares, as a parody of Freddy Krueger in the Halloween special, measuring up Downing Street to prepare to move in and taunting him with his leadership failure, which Starmer declares "A Nightmare on Downing Street". When Starmer exits the dream world, he claims it his real situation is worse than the nightmare and asks to be put back in, at which point Farage reappears and claims he is still in the dream while laughing manically. He is seen in another sketch with an "Old Witch from Reform" (likely a reference to Sarah Pochin), where she creates a spell that summons Farage who defends her - when he drinks the spell, he is incapacitated.
Farage appears in a later episode delivering his economic policy in a speech. To do so, he plans to:
- Grow the economy by making more flags.
- Make more money selling flags.
- Reduce unemployment by opening flag factories.
Farage then accidentally reads the back of a cigarette packet, then demands his listeners to wear a Remembrance Poppy.
