While Nigel appeared to be a kind fellow in the beginning, this is just an act to conceal an evil side to him.
Nigel first appears in the middle of a skateboard tournament greeting two of the visitors as he embraces them, and he congratulates Tony Valdez.
Later at his office, Nigel is greeted by Taipan after the two employees meeting him leave. They later meet again after the incident at the skate park, discussing about an error in a research project.
Soon, Nigel attends a funeral done for Tony's parents who died as a result of his and Taipan's actions and greets one of the victims of Taipan's assault. However, Tony discovers that Harrington hired Taipan to eliminate his parents because they wanted to rectify the mistake.
Later after that, Nigel and Taipan show up in a lab in the company the former is part of where he has mind control devices implanted on several of the text subjects. Later, he organizes an auction but is betrayed by Taipan and killed.
