The Night Ripper is the titular main antagonist of the 2017 retro horror video game of the same name developed by Puppet Combo. He is a serial killer murdering prostitutes in New York who chases Rachel through the town to try and kill her.
Personality[]
Not much is known of the Night Ripper, however, unlike all they other killers in the video game series, The Night Ripper specifically targets groups of people, primarily prostitutes, however, it’s stated by the radio host Nathan Talbot targets drug addicts and homosexuals. He is shown to be bloodthirsty and ruthless, violently stabbing the women to death, and he shows to attack Rachel despite not being a prostitute, implying that the Night Ripper is deeply misogynistic. It’s also implied that he sees himself as a savior to the streets, according to the Nathan Talbot, who is cleaning up the streets of New York.
Biography[]
The Night Ripper preys the streets of New York in 1981, targeting prostitutes in the area and brutally stabbing them to death. By the time the game begins, seven prostitutes have been killed, with only one has survived the attacks. As Rachel leave the restaurant to her apartment, she takes a detour deep in the streets due to another murder keeping the streets blocked.
She then proceeds to come across the Night Ripper in his car, and he spots her, presumably mistaking her for a prostitute, and he proceeds to stalk and attempt to murder her, killing a random prostitute before chasing her again.
Appearance[]
The Night Ripper’s real appearance is unknown. He wears an all black coat and hate, and has a unique duck like mask covering his face, and holds a switchblade and flashlight in his hand.
