Nike is a minor antagonist of the manga Record of Ragnarok Forbidden Legend - Apocalypse of The Gods, a spin-off of the manga/anime series Record of Ragnarok.

Nike is the Greek Goddess of Victory, a subordinate of Zeus, the younger sister of Zelos and a commander of the Divine Honor Guard, charged with ensuring that the Ragnarok Tournament runs smoothly along with her team.

Appearance[]

Nike is a Goddess in the form of a young, slender humanoid woman with short, wiry hair that reaches the back of her neck. She wears a suit of armor with golden ornaments, held up by two straps on her shoulders and back, connected by a metal buckle in the shape of a four-petaled flower above Nike's chest. On her left breast, she has a metal disk with a large wing-shaped ornament that reaches her shoulder, held in place by a strap that goes under her right breast. She also wears black plates on her shoulders and a choker around her neck. She wears bracelets over some bandages wrapped around her upper arm, and she has more bandages under the fingerless gauntlet on her right hand, which reaches above her wrist. On her left arm, she has a metal gauntlet that reaches her elbow, while her stomach and waist are hidden by a piece of metal. She also wears black shorts that reach her thighs and sandals that end below her knees, with a longsword in a sheath tied around her waist.

Personality[]

Nike is a Goddess who is extremely loyal to her superior Zeus, who makes sure to obey his every order. Because of this, she is willing to go up against beings more powerful than her such as Sun Wukong and Belial, even if it means losing her life. She cares deeply for her comrades, including her brother Zelos.

Biography[]

Nike is the Greek Goddess of Victory, the younger sister of Zelos and a commander of the Divine Honor Guard. Following the announcement of the Ragnarok Tournament and later the Apocalypse Tournament, Zeus tasks Nike and her team with ensuring that the Ragnarok Tournament is held as scheduled, even if it means going up against the contenders of the Apocalypse Tournament.

After defeating Prometheus in the Round of 16 of the Apocalypse Tournament, Sun Wukong announces that he will save Humanity if he wins the Apocalypse Tournament, prompting Zelos to claim that they must stop him at all costs, though first he and Nike deal with the intruder who has invaded the Olympus Palace. He reveals himself to be Belial and Zelos immediately threatens him, which causes Belial to attack him and Nike seemingly killing them.

Powers and Abilities[]

Overall Abilities: As a Goddess, Nike possesses physical abilities far superior to those of any ordinary Human. Her body cannot be damaged by mortal weapons, however it can still be damaged by unarmed attacks from individuals with superhuman strength and Divine Weapons. For the same reason, Nike is unable to die due to old age. Also being a commander of the Divine Honor Guard, it is likely that Nike is stronger than all of her comrades, though not enough to stand up to a fighter like Belial.

Sword Skill: Nike is a swordswoman, and it can be assumed that she is good at using it since she has become a commander.

Trivia[]

  • In Greek Mythology, Nike and Zelos are also siblings of Bia and Kratos, but it is currently unknown if the two are related to their counterparts from "Record of Ragnarok".
